DynamoDB Interface
When run locally with Docker, DocViewer exposes a DynamoDB interface on port 8000. See dynamodb-admin on npm. This is not available in live DocViewer environments.
The interface is pretty straightforward, but here are a few tips:
- Editing an annotation or document record can be a good way to get data in the database that the API wouldn't normally permit
- If you drop a database (click "Delete" - this can be a good way to clear a table) bring down the project and bring it back up again (
docker-compose down
anddocker-compose up
) to recreate the tables canvadocs_crocodocs_raw_data
is a legacy table that you shouldn't need to worry about
